Privacy

Your Privacy is Very Important to Us

We value the privacy each of our clients and visitors and the information that they provide to us. PsychicBitch.com’s policy is, quite simply, PRIVACY. We do not, sell, rent, or transfer personal information or email addresses. The information you provide to us is held in absolute privacy. We pledge to NEVER to sell your name or personal information to any third party.

Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.psychicbitch.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

This is only if you choose to sign-up as a member. If you want to just view our site, check our on-line divination, or read our articles, this info does not pertain to you. We ask members to provide their name (first name is acceptable), password, and email address. Also, if they choose to submit a question, we ask for birth info including birthdates, birth time, and the location of their birth and any other person(s) they are asking about. This information is needed to give you the most accurate psychic reading possible.

Only the administrator has access to our members’ email addresses. Our psychics do not have access to any member email addresses.

We do retain members questions and their private data, in a database separate from our site database, indefinitely. We prefer to keep this info, so we can refer back to a questioner’s previous questions as a reference to their situation.

This site DOES NOT bill or charge people under 18, any person who doesn’t meet the age criteria is immediately erased from our database.

Contact Forms

If you contact us, we also ask for your name (first name is acceptable) and email address in our contact form, so we can reply to your situation. One single admin receives your contact form, and that message and data is deleted as soon as the problem is resolved.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Presently only our paid members have access to upload images, and those images are only for our psychics to see. They are never displayed on the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to our WordPress blog, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. Members cannot access our WordPress blog. Only our psychics have access to this blog.

When you log in to our WordPress blog, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed. Only psychics and administrators have access to our WordPress blog.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day. Only psychics are allowed to add articles.

Cookies are used on our members only pages to enable members to remember their login details and to auto login. When a member is logged in we can of course identify them as a member which removes the need to enter CAPTCHA codes on forms and also provides access to other members only areas. If you do not wish to have a cookie used then you can uncheck the auto login checkbox on the login form.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We do use affiliate advertising, and our affiliates will place a cookie in your browser to identify you as coming from PsychicBitch.com, if you click on one of their ads. Those cookies expire in one year or less depending upon the affiliate advertiser. You can delete cookies from your browser any time you choose (check your browser’s settings), but PLEASE HELP KEEP OUR WEBSITE FREE. Should you choose to go back to that advertiser’s site without our cookie, then we will not receive our commission. Please click on the ad from our site before you visit our affiliates’ sites.

We also run Google AdSense ads, and you can read how Googles uses your information here

Analytics

We use Google for our site analytics, but Google does not track and store the full IP addresses of visitors to this site. We collect some basic technical information, including, for example, the visitor’s domain name (e.g., whether the user is logged on from aol.com or whitehouse.gov), referral data (e.g., we record the address of the last URL a user visited prior to clicking through to the PsychicBitch.com web site), and browser and platform type (e.g., a Netscape browser on a Macintosh platform). We do not connect this information to specific individuals or businesses.

We may also count, track, and aggregate visitor activity on our web sites and in response to our email newsletter(s) into our analysis of general traffic flows (e.g. tracking where traffic comes from, how traffic flows within our sites, etc.). We may merge information about respondents, visitors, and visits into group data, which will never be shared; and we will not disclose your individual identity or personally identifiable data to anyone without your permission.

Who we share your data with

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
